
DR Congo has joined eight other countries eliminated from the ongoing CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The previously eliminated teams include Mauritania, Guinea, Niger Republic, Burkina Faso, Angola, Central African Republic, Zambia, and Nigeria.
Morocco Secures Victory
The team’s exit came after a 3-1 loss to Morocco on Sunday, ending their campaign in the competition.
Group A Standings
Following the result, Kenya, who defeated Zambia 1-0 on the same day, topped Group A with 10 points from four matches.
Morocco finished second with 9 points, while DR Congo ended third with 6 points.
Angola placed fourth with 4 points, and Zambia remained fifth with zero points.
