Kebbi Governor Idris says no opposition can stop Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid

Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has declared that no individual or coalition can derail President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term bid in 2027.
He maintained that despite mounting opposition, Tinubu would smoothly and freely reclaim the presidency.

Governor Speaks During Condolence Visit in Birnin Kebbi

Governor Idris made the statement in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital, while receiving Chief Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria and first daughter of the President.
She had visited Government House on a condolence visit over the passing of Emir of Zuru, retired Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Sani Sami.

Kebbi People Reaffirm Support for Tinubu

The governor stressed that the people of Kebbi State had no choice but to stand with President Tinubu in 2027.
He explained that this was due to the many projects and developmental initiatives facilitated by the president in the state.
According to him, Tinubu’s leadership style benefits both Kebbi State and the nation at large.

Tinubu’s Daughter Offers Condolences

Chief Mujidat Folasade Tinubu-Ojo stated that her visit was to commiserate with the governor, the family of the late Emir, and the people of Kebbi State.
She prayed to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Emir and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

Malam Ahmed Idris, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, confirmed in a statement on Tuesday that Tinubu’s daughter also prayed for strength and comfort for the Emir’s family and the people of Kebbi State.
