The Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta (ABCOAD) has made a great achievement as the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has approved the accreditation of 12 academic programmes in the institution.

What is NBTE Accreditation?

NBTE accreditation is an official approval given to polytechnics and colleges offering technical and vocational education in Nigeria. It means that the institution has met the necessary requirements in terms of teaching, infrastructure, and curriculum to train students effectively. Without this accreditation, certificates issued by a school may not be recognized for employment or further studies.

The 12 Newly Accredited Programmes

ABCOAD received full accreditation for the following 12 programmes:
1. Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agricultural Extension and Management
2. National Diploma (ND) in Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology
3. ND in Computer Science
4. ND in Fisheries Technology
5. ND in Horticultural Technology
6. HND in Soil Science and Land Resources Management Technology
7. HND in Agribusiness Management
8. HND in Horticultural Technology
9. HND in Computer Science
10. ND in Home and Rural Economics
11. ND in Animal Health and Production Technology
