Nigerian government warns against fake Cowbell milk in circulation

The Nigerian government has alerted the public about the circulation of counterfeit Cowbell Our Milk in markets across the country.

Manufacturer Confirms Counterfeit Discovery

In a statement released on its official website Friday, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) revealed that Promasidor Nigeria Limited, the authorised manufacturer, confirmed the development.

Fake Product Closely Resembles Original

According to NAFDAC, the counterfeit sachet looks almost identical to the authentic 12g Cowbell Our Milk, making it difficult for consumers to distinguish between the two.

Serious Health Risks Highlighted

The agency warned that consumption of the fake milk poses serious health and safety risks to the public
