The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) has officially opened admissions for its 2025/2026 ND and HND Nursing programs.
Applicants interested in studying nursing at the OAUTHC campuses in Ile-Ife or Ilesa must meet specific academic and age criteria.
If you sat for the 2025 UTME and have the right subject combination, you may be eligible to apply to study nursing at OAUTHC Ile-Ife or Ilesa.
Entry Requirements for Nursing at OAUTHC
To be considered for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements.
Applicants must have a minimum of five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
These credits must come from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in not more than two sittings.
Note that you cannot combine NABTEB results with those from other examination bodies.
You must also be at least 16 years old by January 2025 to qualify for entry.
A minimum UTME score of 180 is required for eligibility.
In addition, candidates must select the OAUTHC College of Nursing Sciences (Ile-Ife or Ilesa campus) as their first-choice institution.
The correct UTME subject combination is English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
Changing Your First Choice Institution
If you did not originally choose OAUTHC as your first choice during UTME registration, you can still apply.
However, you must change your first-choice institution on the JAMB portal to OAUTHC before your application can be processed.
Campus Placement After Admission
Students admitted into the program will be assigned to one of the two available campuses.
These are the Ife Hospital Unit in Ile-Ife and the Wesley Guild Hospital in Ilesa.
Final placement decisions will be made by the College of Nursing Sciences.
Step-by-Step Application Process
To apply, visit the OAUTHC application portal online.
Fill out the form with accurate details and follow the payment instructions provided.
The total cost of the application process is ₦15,000.

Post-UTME Screening Details
All eligible candidates will take a Computer-Based Test (CBT) as part of the screening process.
The CBT will be conducted by the OAUTHC Nursing and Midwifery Entrance Committee.
It is scheduled for Tuesday, August 26, and Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
