The “Because English” hitmaker described such notions as misleading and inaccurate.

In a recent episode of the CreativTea Podcast, Chimezie emphasized that artists who smoke or drink are primarily enjoying themselves.
He clarified that these habits do not serve as a source of creative inspiration.
Creativity Comes Naturally
According to Chimezie, genuine musical inspiration arises organically, without relying on substances.
“The claims that you need to drink or smoke to get music inspiration is false. If you are drinking or smoking, you are just having fun. That doesn’t mean it will boost your creativity,” he stated.
