College of Nursing Sciences, Adazi-Nnukwu (CONSA) Releases Post-Basic Nursing Admission Form

Are you a Registered Midwife or Psychiatric Nurse looking to further your nursing career?

The College of Nursing Sciences, Adazi-Nnukwu (CONSA), has opened applications for its Post-Basic Nursing Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The Post-Basic Nursing Programme at CONSA is an 18-month course (three semesters) approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

It is designed for Registered Midwives or Psychiatric Nurses who want to obtain an additional nursing qualification.

To be eligible, applicants must:

Have at least five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, obtained in not more than two sittings.

Be a Registered Midwife or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a valid license.

Have at least one year of post-clinical experience in midwifery or psychiatric nursing.

Have an active email address for communication.

Follow these steps to apply:

1. Pay the Application Fee

The application fee is ₦20,500 (non-refundable).

2. Complete Your Application

After payment, visit the official CONSA website and follow the instructions to fill out your application form.

After submitting your application, you must participate in the screening exam.

Birth Certificate

Testimonial from the previous school

O’level result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)

Proof of payment (bank teller or transaction receipt)

Practicing license (for midwives or psychiatric nurses)
