England: Carragher Forecasts Disappointment for Chelsea in Champions League

Champions League: Carragher predicts stage Chelsea will get eliminated from competition

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has predicted that Chelsea will not progress beyond the group stage of the UEFA Champions League this season.

Chelsea Return After Two-Year Absence

The Blues are back in the Champions League for the first time since 2023, having secured a fourth-place finish in last season’s Premier League. However, Carragher doubts they will make a significant impact.

Past Champions League Glory

Chelsea have lifted the prestigious trophy twice — first in 2012 and again in 2021 under Thomas Tuchel — but Carragher believes this campaign will be far less successful.
