Emergency services are on scene working to bring the blaze under control.
Roads Closed and Buildings Evacuated
President Street, Queen Street, and Jack Street have been shut to traffic as a safety measure.
Nearby buildings have also been evacuated to protect residents and workers.
Firefighters Target Upper Floor Flames
The flames have engulfed the top section of the two-storey structure.
Firefighters are focusing on reaching the lower level to prevent further spread.
No Injuries Reported So Far
According to City of Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services spokesperson William Ntladi, no casualties have been confirmed.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

EMPD sources indicate protesters may have set the building alight.
