David Awoyode
Chairman of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, delivered victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his polling unit during Saturday’s Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election.
Polling Unit Details
Alli cast his vote at Unit 022, Ward 3, Oke Aremo area, where the APC polled 49 votes, defeating the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which secured 31 votes.
Representation at the National Assembly
The lawmaker, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District under the APC platform, expressed joy over the outcome of the election.
Commendation for Peaceful Conduct
Senator Alli, also the Ekaarun Balogun of Ibadanland, praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for ensuring orderliness throughout the voting process.
