
Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of winger and attacker Asanele Velebayi from Cape Town Spurs.
This makes Velebayi the club’s seventh addition to their squad for the new season.

Velebayi Signs Long-Term Contract
Velebayi, a 22-year-old Cape Town-born winger, has signed a four-year deal that will keep him at Naturena until 2029.
The club described him as a pacey and dynamic attacker expected to bring fresh energy to the Amakhosi frontline.
On social media, Chiefs welcomed him with the message:

More Transfers Expected Soon
Luke Baartmen is tipped to be the next player unveiled by Chiefs after they approached Cape Town Spurs for both him and Velebayi.
The main delay has been a legal dispute, despite both players already agreeing to personal terms.

Chiefs have already released eight players, and more exits are expected.
Players worth over R13 million are reportedly on the transfer list, including a R6 million midfielder and a R7 million international.
