Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu has shared his emotions after making his debut for Amakhosi in their 2-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC. The 26-year-old admitted that while nerves were present, he relied on his naturally calm personality to handle the occasion.
Staying Calm Under Pressure
Coming off the bench, Ndlovu said the moment could have been overwhelming but reminded himself to remain composed. “Obviously, there are some nerves, but generally I am a calm person by nature,” he told the club’s website. “When I was called to come on, I thought, ‘Okay, this is pressure. What do you do under pressure? You stay calm.’”

The new signing credited the people around him for keeping him steady, adding that playing in front of the passionate Chiefs supporters was something he embraced. “As a footballer, you want to play in front of big crowds, so I am happy to go out and play my best football,” he said.

Wearing the No. 8 jersey, Ndlovu insisted he is not focused on proving himself to anyone but on giving his all to the team. “I just want to enjoy my football and serve the Club with honesty, giving everything I have to the cause,” he concluded.
