Kaduna Polytechnic Announces Matriculation Date for 2024/2025 Session

Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY) is set to officially welcome its newly admitted students as it holds its matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the New Convocation Square, Tudun Wada Main Campus, Kaduna Polytechnic.

Matriculation is an important tradition in Nigerian higher institutions. It is the official event where new students take an oath, promising to abide by the rules and regulations of the institution. For freshers, it marks the beginning of their journey at Kaduna Polytechnic.

At KADPOLY, this year’s matriculation ceremony is unique because it is a combined event for students from different programs. It will include:

• 2023/2024 Evening Programme students

• 2024/2025 Regular Programme students

This means that both National Diploma (ND1) and Higher National Diploma (HND1) students, whether in the Regular or Evening Programmes, are required to attend.

The polytechnic has extended invitations to key dignitaries, including the President of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) and other important guests. Their presence will add significance to the event and inspire the new students.

All fresh students must be present at the ceremony, as it is a compulsory requirement. Those who fail to attend may face issues with their studentship later on.

New students are advised to:

• Dress in a formal and decent manner.

• Collect their matriculation gowns ahead of time.
