Gunmen stormed Zawachiki Quarters in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State and abducted a resident.
The victim has been identified as Aminu Abdullahi.
Attack Happened in Broad Daylight
The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday when the armed men invaded the community.
Residents were thrown into panic as the attackers took the victim away.
Police Receive Report
Reports by Zagazola Makama revealed that the police got information about the abduction around 7:45 a.m. on Sunday.
Police Patrol and Investigation
The Divisional Police Officer of Kumbotso led a patrol team to the affected area following the report.
According to reliable sources, the police have also obtained a statement from the victim’s son, who witnessed the incident.
