KwaZulu-Natal Residents Warned of Showers and Fog Tomorrow

KwaZulu-Natal Residents Warned of Showers and Fog Tomorrow

Residents in the southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal are advised to prepare for showers and thundershowers tomorrow, with wet conditions predicted across various parts of the province.

Cold Front Driving Unstable Conditions

Forecaster Phemelo Zonke explained that a cold front is creating unstable weather patterns over the southeastern regions, impacting both inland and coastal areas.

Morning Fog and Low Visibility

Early morning fog patches are expected in certain locations, with visibility possibly dropping below one kilometre.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution during the morning commute.

Safety Advice for Drivers

Zonke warned that fog can appear suddenly in both coastal and inland valleys.

Drivers should keep headlights on low beam, maintain safe following distances, and avoid sudden stops to reduce accident risks.

Regional Weather Outlook

In addition to KwaZulu-Natal’s forecast, showers and rain are predicted along the Eastern Cape’s southern coastline.

The Northern Cape and Free State are expected to experience thundershowers.

Temperature Differences Across KwaZulu-Natal

The province’s interior will remain cooler, while coastal cities may see occasional warmer periods between showers.
