LASU 2025 Sandwich Programme, New Students’ Clearance Requirements

Getting admitted into the Lagos State University (LASU) Sandwich Programme is a big step in your education career. However, before you can fully resume, there are important clearance steps you need to complete.

Once you have been offered admission, the first thing to do is generate your application number, to do this, visit the official LASU Sandwich Programmes Application Portal at studentservices.lasu.edu.ng.

Then Click on “New Student Clearance.” and fill in the required details. 

You would be given an application number automatically. This number is very important as you will need it for all your remaining processes during registration. 

After generating your application number, the next step is to make the necessary payment you will need to visit the LASU e-Payment Portal.

Select “Main Campus” as your campus and “Sandwich/Post-Graduate Application” as your study type then generate a transaction ID and follow the payment instructions, you can pay using pay using a bank or online transfer, depending on your preference.

Ensure you print the payment receipt, as you will need it for verification.

Once payment is successful, go back to the Application Portal and log in using your Application Number.

Click on “Print Admission Letter” and download it.

Keep both the soft and hard copies safe because they will be required during physical clearance.

Physical Verification & Document Submission

At this stage, you are required to visit LASU’s Sandwich Programme office for physical verification, and make sure you go with the following documents:

• Admission Letter (Original & Photocopy)

• Payment Receipt

• O’ Level Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)

• Birth Certificate or Age Declaration

• Local Government Identification (LGA Certificate)

• Two Passport Photographs

And also any other document requested by the school. 

The school management will cross-check your documents to confirm that all details match your admission records.

Once your documents are verified, the next step is to register for courses.

Log in to the LASU Student Portal and navigate to “Course Registration”.

Select your department and level, then choose the required courses for the semester.

Submit the form and print your Course Registration Slip.

Shortly after this, LASU will assign you a Matriculation Number, which serves as your official student ID throughout your academic journey.

Once you have completed all clearance steps, ensure you attend the school’s orientation program.

During the orientation, you will be given an overview of the school’s academic structure, rules, and expectations.

After that, you are officially set to begin your lectures.
