The 2025 Formula One season will feature 24 races, with the 15th round scheduled in the Netherlands on Sunday, 31 August.

The battle for the championship will continue at the iconic Circuit Zandvoort, with the race lights set to go out at 15:00 South African time.

Drivers’ Championship Standings

McLaren’s Oscar Piastri currently leads the standings with 284 points after securing six victories from the first 14 races.

Close behind is his teammate Lando Norris with 275 points and five wins.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen sits in third place with 187 points, followed by Mercedes’ George Russell with 172.

Russell is the only non-McLaren driver to secure a race win so far this season.

Constructors’ Championship Standings

McLaren has shown clear dominance in the constructors’ standings, topping the table with 559 points.

Ferrari trails in second with 260, while Mercedes sits in third on 236.

Red Bull follows in fourth with 194 points, and Williams rounds out the top five with 70.

In last year’s Dutch Grand Prix, Lando Norris claimed victory in his McLaren.

He finished ahead of Max Verstappen in second and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in third.
