Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, clarified this on Thursday while addressing journalists in Abuja, explaining that the documents being cited were only proposals.
2009 and 2011 Documents Not Binding
Alausa emphasized that both the 2009 and 2011 documents often referenced by ASUU were never signed, but simply drafts presented during negotiation processes.

Clarification on Reports of Scheduled Meeting
The minister also dismissed reports that he had scheduled a meeting with ASUU and the Minister of Labour and Employment, describing them as inaccurate.
