NovaDius President Says Ether ETFs Were Underestimated by Institutional Investors in New York

Nate Geraci, president of NovaDius, stated on X that institutional investors had previously underestimated Ether ETFs.

He explained this was mainly because traditional finance investors did not fully understand Ethereum.

Geraci added that institutional interest in Ethereum has grown as it is now seen as the “backbone of future financial markets.”

Ethereum Shows Strong Bullish Signals

Ethereum has experienced record inflows, supported by several positive indicators.

ETH surged 45% in the past 30 days, according to CoinGecko data.

On Thursday, the amount of Ether held on exchanges dropped to 15.28 million ETH — the lowest since November 2016 — signaling that investors are moving assets off exchanges, typically a bullish sign for long-term holding.

Ethereum Dominates Tokenized Asset Market

Token Terminal, an on-chain data platform, highlighted Ethereum’s continued dominance in tokenized assets.

Ethereum accounts for roughly 58% of all tokenized assets across all blockchain networks.

Additionally, assets staked on Ethereum surpassed the $150 billion mark for the first time.

Ether ETFs and Treasury Holdings Continue to Grow

Crypto influencer Anthony Sassano revealed that Ether ETFs have purchased more than half of the ETH issued since Ethereum’s switch to proof-of-stake in late 2022.

Since The Merge, over 451,000 ETH have been issued, and ETFs acquired 238,000 ETH in net inflows on Monday alone.

Sassano emphasized that in just one day, Ether ETFs bought more than 50% of all net issued ETH since The Merge.

Corporate holders of Ether have also seen their assets under management rise to $13 billion on Monday, driven by Ethereum’s price gains.

Experts Urge Caution Despite Price Rally

While Ethereum’s price rally continues, short-term traders are booking profits, indicating expectations of a possible pullback.

Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum’s co-founder, warned that corporations buying ETH for their treasuries might be creating a risky “overleveraged game.”
