The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has officially opened its portal for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening exercise.
This applies strictly to candidates who selected UNN as their first choice during the 2025 UTME and scored at least 160.
Who Is Not Eligible to Apply
Certain categories of candidates are not qualified to participate in the screening.
These include:
- Applicants below 16 years old by 30 September 2025.
- Candidates awaiting Nov/Dec 2025 NECO or GCE results.
- Candidates with discrepancies between their O’Level and JAMB records.
UNN has emphasized that applicants must ensure their records are accurate before applying, as no corrections will be allowed afterward.
Screening Fee and Payment Options
The application fee for the screening is ₦2,000.
Payments can be made via Remita at any commercial bank or through online transactions using an ATM card.
Deadline for Registration
The online application portal is currently active and will close at midnight on Friday, 22 August 2025.
Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
Step-by-Step Registration Guide
To apply, candidates should follow the outlined procedure:
- Visit the official UNN website.
- Click on UNN Portal at the top right corner.
- Select Prospective Students.
- Click on Online Application Form for 2025/2026 Admission Screening.
- Input your JAMB Registration Number.
- Generate a payment invoice.
- Pay at any bank or online using an ATM card.
- Re-enter your JAMB number on the portal.
- Provide personal details, date of birth, and verified O’Level results.
- Enter your exam number and centre details.
- Upload required documents (each file must not exceed 100KB).
Required Documents for Upload
Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following:
- Birth Certificate
- Local Government Certificate
- Primary School Testimonial
- First School Leaving Certificate
- JAMB Result Slip
- O’Level Results (single or combined sitting)
- Direct Entry Results (if applicable)
Once submitted, applications cannot be edited.
Candidates must also print out their acknowledgment slip after completing registration.
Direct Entry Applicants
Direct Entry candidates are also expected to register for the screening.
All Direct Entry results must first be verified by NIPEDS, JAMB’s result verification platform.
