Soweto: Orlando Pirates Loan Karim Kimvuidi to SC Ashdod

Karim Kimvuidi will not feature for Orlando Pirates in this season’s Betway Premiership.
The Congolese midfielder has completed a loan switch to Israeli club SC Ashdod.

Midfielder Leaves After Two Years in Soweto

The 23-year-old joined the Buccaneers in 2022 from Maritzburg United.
In 37 appearances for the club, Kimvuidi managed three goals and one assist before sealing his move abroad.

SC Ashdod Confirm Kimvuidi Signing

While Orlando Pirates have yet to make an official statement, SC Ashdod announced the arrival of the former DC Motema Pembe player.
The transfer follows Mohau Nkota’s switch to Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia, making Kimvuidi the second Buccaneer to leave for an overseas club this winter.

Monnapule Saleng Finds New Energy at Orbit College

Orlando Pirates winger Monnapule Saleng appears revitalised after joining Orbit College on loan.
The player, who had faced an uncertain period in his career just months ago, is now performing with renewed confidence and joy.

Rediscovering Form After Setbacks

Once a standout star in the Premiership, Saleng’s form had dipped, but his new environment seems to have reignited his spark.
Reports suggest he is again showing the brilliance that once lit up the league.

Orlando Pirates’ Continental Ambitions

With these squad changes, attention now turns to what the Buccaneers can achieve in the CAF Champions League this season.
