Tiffany Gomas, widely known as the “crazy plane lady” after her viral meltdown on an American Airlines flight, has made a surprising career move nearly two years after her infamous outburst.
The 40-year-old went viral in July 2023 when she screamed, “that motherf***er back there is not real,” while being escorted off a flight from Fort Worth to Orlando, Florida.
Gomas later explained that the incident stemmed from a “little bit of an altercation” with another passenger that “spiraled out of control.”

On Tuesday, she announced on X that she is relaunching her Passes account, a platform that allows creators to connect directly with their fans.
Through Passes, Gomas plans to offer exclusive content such as live streams, one-on-one messaging, and podcasts to her followers.
She invited her audience to engage with her, saying, “I told y’all that mf wasn’t real… but this is… Come chat with me here and I’ll answer all your questions!!”

Gomas has created three membership tiers for her fans: the “Passport to Tiff” at $9.99 per month, the “Private Flight” for $20, and the premium “First Class” membership priced at $69.99.

The Viral Flight Incident
The viral moment happened when Gomas was flying to join her family on vacation and got into an argument that escalated on the plane.
Filmed pointing to the back of the cabin, she declared, “I’m getting the f*** off and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f*** off and everyone can either believe it or they can not believe it.”
She continued, “I don’t give two fs, but I am telling you right now – that motherfer back there is not real.”
Gomas added, “You can sit on this plane and you can die with them or not. I’m not going to.”
Clarification on Her Viral Statement
In a later interview with Inside Edition, she clarified the phrase “not real” was a figure of speech meaning “he’s not being real,” not a supernatural claim.
Reflecting on the incident, she called it “the worst moment” of her life and described it as “horribly mortifying.”

Speaking to the Pardon My Take podcast, Gomas said, “It was not my best moment … it was actually a horrible moment. Absolutely mortifying. How horribly mortifying.”
She also explained her reluctance to discuss the incident earlier, admitting, “The reason I probably haven’t come out yet is that it’s so cringe.”
When asked about the infamous words that many viewers misinterpreted as seeing a ghost or alien, she replied, “I literally did not see anything … It was an expression of speech.”
Gomas emphasized that the comment was aimed at the man with whom she was arguing during the flight.
