Trump Wallet Announcement Sparks Confusion as Family Denies Involvement

On June 3, an announcement about a new Trump-branded crypto wallet sparked confusion after US President Donald Trump’s sons distanced the family from the project.

The wallet, called the “Official $TRUMP Wallet by President Trump,” was said to be a collaboration between NFT marketplace Magic Eden and a firm connected to the Trump Organization.

This firm is linked to the president’s memecoin and his broader holding company.

However, Eric Trump, Barron Trump, and Donald Trump Jr. all denied any involvement with the wallet.

Trump Wallet Announcement Sparks Confusion as Family Denies Involvement

Donald Trump Jr. clarified that the Trump Organization has “zero involvement” with the product and revealed that their own crypto platform, World Liberty Financial, “will be launching our official wallet soon.”

Crypto skeptic Molly White described the situation as “absolute chaos,” suggesting communication issues among Trump-affiliated businesses.

The Trump Wallet website states the project is a partnership with Magic Eden and GetTrumpMemes.com.

GetTrumpMemes.com is owned by Fight Fight Fight LLC, which is co-owned by CIC Digital LLC, a company affiliated with the Trump Organization.

Together, these companies control most of the supply of Trump’s memecoin.

Classover Announces $500 Million Convertible Note to Build Solana Reserve

K-12 education company Classover revealed plans to expand into crypto by creating a strategic Solana (SOL) reserve.

The company intends to issue up to $500 million in senior convertible notes, dedicating 80% of the proceeds to purchasing Solana tokens.

This move reflects a growing trend of companies incorporating crypto strategies alongside their core operations.

On June 2, Classover announced it had already acquired 6,472 SOL, valued at roughly $1.1 million, to start its reserve.

The $500 million convertible note issuance is in partnership with Solana Growth Ventures.

Classover, which offers online learning courses for K-12 students globally, saw its shares surge to $5.45 on the Nasdaq on June 3, marking a 46.5% intraday increase.

The company stated that the convertible notes complement its existing $400 million equity purchase agreement, potentially bringing its total Solana purchasing power to $900 million.

Revolut Plans to Enter Crypto Derivatives Market, Job Listing Reveals

Fintech giant Revolut appears to be preparing to enter the crypto derivatives space, according to a recent job posting.

The listing seeks a “General Manager (Crypto Derivatives)” to lead the end-to-end launch of a derivatives platform.

The role involves overseeing product design, trading infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and commercial strategy.

Revolut is recruiting for this position in London, Barcelona, and Dubai.

The company aims to create “one of the most trusted, scalable, and profitable derivatives offerings in the world,” leveraging its 50 million global customers.

A Revolut spokesperson told Cointelegraph that the company is hiring to broaden expertise in crypto products, especially for institutional clients.

They clarified that the job listings represent “ongoing exploration” rather than confirmation of immediate product launches.
