Admission Requirements
To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
For Master’s and Doctorate Degrees
You’ll need at least five O’Level credits, including English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
A Bachelor’s degree with a Second Class Lower Division or higher.
For doctorate programmes, a master’s degree with at least 60% (4.0 CGPA) or letter grade “B”.
For Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Public Health
You’ll need five O’Level credits in relevant subjects.
A university degree with at least a Third Class or an HND with Lower Credit in a related field.
For Professional Diploma in Care-Giving
You’ll need five O’Level credits in relevant subjects.
A degree in Medicine (MBBS, BDS) or a related health field like Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or Pharmacy.
Programme Duration
The duration depends on the programme and whether you are studying full-time or part-time:
Doctorate Programmes: 3 to 8 years

Master’s Programmes: 1 to 3 years

PGD Programmes: 1 to 3 years

Professional Diploma in Care-Giving: 1 to 2 years

How to Apply

Visit the UNIABUJA portal: https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng
Click on “Postgraduate” and enter your details.
Generate an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) and pay the ₦20,000 application fee through REMITA.
Go back to the portal, complete your application, and upload the required documents.
Submit the Transcript Request Form (Form A2) as part of your application.
Application Deadline
The deadline for submitting applications is April 30, 2024.
