
The University of Abuja has officially begun the sale of admission forms for its Open and Distance Learning (ODL) degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
These programmes are managed by the Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education.
This flexible learning opportunity is open to students across Nigeria.
All courses are conducted entirely online, allowing you to study from anywhere without stepping foot on campus.

Each of these programmes runs on a fully online model.
Students attend virtual classes, access study materials online, and complete all assessments via the internet.
General Entry Requirements
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:
Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects in WAEC, NECO, or GCE in not more than two sittings.
Two passes in A-Level GCE with five O-Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
Four O-Level credits including English and Maths, plus two A-Level passes or related qualifications.
Programme Duration
Each course lasts between 4 to 5 years.
The exact duration depends on your entry qualifications.
All academic activities are done online, giving you the freedom to study at your own pace.
How to Apply
Follow these simple steps to begin your application.
1. Visit the official UNIABUJA Distance Learning portal.
2. Choose the option for the Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education.
3. Fill in your full name, email address, and mobile number.
4. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
5. Pay the application fee of ₦15,000 using a MasterCard or Visa Card.
6. After payment, you will receive an application number.
7. Use that number to log in and complete your online form.
Important Notes for Applicants
Use a valid email and phone number that you can access regularly.
All official updates will be sent via these channels.
There will be no refund after payment.
Only applicants who are serious about online learning should apply.
Application Deadline
The closing date for applications is Saturday, 14 June 2025.
Late applications will not be accepted.
