This programme runs for one academic year and serves as a pathway for students who wish to gain Direct Entry admission into UNIABUJA or other Nigerian universities that recognise IJMB.

To qualify for the IJMB programme, candidates must have at least five credit passes in their O’Level results.
The required subjects include:

These results must be from recognised examination bodies such as WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB.
Step-by-Step Guide to Apply for UNIABUJA IJMB
Follow these steps carefully to complete your application:
- Visit the UNIABUJA application portal.
- Click on “Start Application.”
- Choose “Interim Joint Matriculation Board” from the list.
- Fill in your:
– Surname.
– First name.
– Other names.
– Email address.
– Phone number.
- Click “Next” to continue.
- On the payment preview page, click “Generate RRR.”
- Click “Make Payment” to proceed to Remita.
- Use your ATM card (MasterCard or Visa) to pay the ₦25,000 application fee.
- Once payment is complete, your application number will be displayed and also sent to your phone by SMS.
- You will be logged out of the portal.
- Return to the main login page.
- Enter your application number as username and your surname as password.
- Complete the application form and submit it.
Important Fees to Remember
– Application fee: ₦25,000.
– Acceptance fee: ₦30,000.
These payments are non-refundable and do not include bank charges.
Key Instructions for Applicants
– Use a valid and active email address and phone number.
– All communication will be sent via email and SMS.
– Students who do not pass the IJMB exam can reapply.
– No refunds will be issued to students who withdraw or are dismissed after completing registration.
