NABTEB GCE 2024 Result Out: 67% Pass With Five Credits Including Maths & English

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has officially released the results for the 2024 November/December General Certificate Examination (GCE).

According to the board, a total of 44,226 candidates sat for the National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) exams across 1,825 examination centers in Nigeria.

Out of the total candidates, 29,880 candidates (67.56%) passed with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

Meanwhile, 42,431 candidates (95.94%) secured five credits and above, regardless of English and Mathematics.

This means that while nearly all candidates performed well in their subjects, a smaller percentage met the standard university admission requirements that include Mathematics and English.

1. Go to the NABTEB result portal – https://eworld.nabteb.gov.ng/

2. Enter your Candidate Identification Number (e.g., 38001178).

3. Select “Examination Type” (choose NOV/DEC).

4. Enter your Examination Year (2024).

5. Enter your NABTEB Scratch Card PIN and Serial Number.

6. Click “Submit” to see your result.

Performance 

The 2024 results show a slight improvement compared to previous years, as more students met the five-credit requirement, especially in Maths and English.

NABTEB also encouraged students who did not perform well to consider skill acquisition programs and vocational training, as the board remains committed to promoting technical and business education in Nigeria.
