National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) Releases GCE 2024 Result

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has officially released the 2024 November/December General Certificate Examination (GCE) results. Thousands of candidates across Nigeria sat for the exam, and the performance statistics show a significant improvement compared to previous years.

According to NABTEB, a total of 44,226 candidates participated in the National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) exams across 1,825 examination centers nationwide.

29,880 candidates (67.56%) passed with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

42,431 candidates (95.94%) obtained five credits and above, regardless of English and Mathematics.

This means that while nearly all candidates performed well in their subjects, only about 67% met the standard admission requirement of five credits including Mathematics and English.

1. Go to the NABTEB result portal – https://eworld.nabteb.gov.ng/

2. Enter your Candidate Identification Number (e.g., 38001178)

3. Select “Examination Type” (Choose NOV/DEC)

4. Enter the Examination Year (2024)

5. Enter your NABTEB Scratch Card PIN and Serial Number

6. Click “Submit” to view your result
