The All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged victorious in the Egume/Dekina state constituency by-election conducted in Kogi State on Saturday.

The Returning Officer, Professor Emmanuel Onoja Eneche, declared Musa Hassan Yakubu, the APC candidate, as the winner with a total of 55,073 votes.

PDP Candidate Trails Far Behind

Godwin Meliga of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) came a distant second, securing only 1,038 votes.

Other Parties Record Minimal Votes

Egene Joseph Ugbede of the APM polled 445 votes.
Amos Ahaiba of the ADC scored 141 votes.
Yakubu Ugbede of the AA garnered 16 votes.
Rilwan Mudi of the SDP trailed with just 5 votes.
